Aimee

Aimee

Marie Baker

"My daughter Aimee is four years old. She is a very sweet, happy child who loves attending nursery and is a real 'daddy's girl'.

We were shocked when, at four months, she was diagnosed with Dravet's syndrome, a form of epilepsy which causes difficult-to-control seizures. Despite taking lots of anti-epileptic drugs and being on the ketogenic diet, Aimee still has some severe seizures.

There is very little known about Dravet's syndrome, that's why Epilepsy Society's work is so vital. Not only do they provide information and support for families like ours, but they also undertake medical research which could prove to be life saving for children like Aimee."
