Celebrate and give

Celebrate and give

Celebratory giving

Celebratory giving is a positive alternative to the traditional wedding list and a great way to mark any special occasion. Rather than receiving presents at your wedding (or even birthday, anniversary or other event), you can ask guests to make a donation to Epilepsy Society which will help thousands of people affected by epilepsy.

If you are thinking about asking for donations instead of presents at a special occasion, we offer a number of resources to help:

  • notification cards
  • a poster which you can personalise
  • collection envelopes
  • gift aid forms
  • flat pack collection boxes
  • supporter newsletter to tell people about our latest news
  • leaflet explaining what we do

The money we receive will help us to improve the lives of people with epilepsy. In return, we will send you an acknowledgement for your donation and those celebrating will receive a personal letter with the total amount given and the names of the donors. Epilepsy Society will not pass on details of the individual amounts donated.

We have also teamed up with online partners virginmoneygiving and JustGiving, so you can create your own personal fundraising page.  You can include your own information, a thank you message, photograph and other links.

If you have any queries about celebratory giving, please contact us on 01494 601 414.
