Diet can control seizures in children

A new study by researchers at The Medical College of Wisconsin and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin has shown that the ketogenic diet can improve seizure control in children if it is supported by long-term medical management and strong parental commitment.

Summary:
An unpublished study of 43 children found that more than half of them had a greater than 90 per cent reduction in seizure frequency.
