Ended up at A&E last night :( Been about a week or so since my last TC and then had another this time at work. Happened to be working late(this will NOT happen again at least not until I am much more stable) and people heard a crash as I fell and cut my the back of my head and got by the sounds of it quite a deep cut. My brother in law came to pick me up and eventually my sister took me to hospital. This must have been about Midnight and my parents turned up at 1 AM. At least I didn't fall on my right shoulder so my collarbone is still okay and healing :!:

Ah Wil, that sucks. Most I had today me was a second of discomfort with some excessive noise and a short shimmering spell and a couple moments of that confusion where your mind trying to associate the time spell wrong. My stuff don't go beyond that type anymore beyond a rare day, and haven't convulsed in ages.

I hope you feel better. More I hope you go into total remission for a good long spell. You a good person. You due for it, a nice so many years. Maybe take a rediculous dose of something?

Thanks yes I'm getting better :) The plan is to go onto broad spectrum Anti-Epileptics so I'm increasing the Valproate(Epilim Chrono here in the UK) to add to my Keppra and Clobazam. Glad I'm off the Lacosamide(Vimpat) :!:

Will,

Thinking of you. I'm just about recovered after falling from the loft ladder a couple of weeks back. A second or two earlier and it would have been from the loft itself. I have a lot to be thankful for.

Will & Andrew,

So sorry to hear you have had some really nasty times of late. I hope you're both feeling better now. (I just mistyped "batter" - you must both be feeling that someone has battered you!)

Thanks yes I'm better than I was and thanks to some clever glue the cut in my head was and thankfully still IS stuck together. Still very tired but have high hopes for the increasing doses of Epilim Chrono(Valproate) I am now taking with my Keppra(Levetiracetam) and the Frisium/Clobazam. I return to work tomorrow but do no more evenings oh and I see my GP tomorrow too so I'll get my repeat prescriptions sorted too :!:

Since this last post I've had a full TC (tonic clonic) seizure on the 19th August and today I had the start of a tonic clonic seizure but only got so far and didn't get to the full thing. Still I did fall off a chair, convulsed(briefly) rolled about and moaned and don't feel great now. BUT am glad a didn't really bite my tongue much(as well really as a gave it a real good chew last week)...Need to up the Epilim again me thinks.... :?

Hi Will

I was sorry to read your post - ive been away for a month and missed it.

Sounds pretty rough. I hope that you start getting some light at the end of the tunnel soon. Do you think you've found your way to the right clinicians?

take care

Yeah I'm writing an email to my doctor's secretary. Have arranged a quick trip to Canada - at the moment just the west coast but I'm leaving in about 2.5 weeks so quite soon. My cousins' have reminded me that if you have go to ER(or A & E as we say) if you don't have a Canadian health plan you have to pay up front when you need treatment and it costs quite a bit - it is though cheaper than I'd have to pay in the States. Perhaps its just as well that my one of my first cousins is an ER nurse at a hospital in BC.
