I love this thread, just what i needed this morning. so in return a ((((((((((hug)))))))))) to everyone.

I am in need of a major hug at the moment.
Nothing to do with my epilepsy. I saw a rheumatolgist yesterday about pain I've been having with my hands.
Not rheumatoid arthritis thankfully - I didn't think it was. Just to much use at work. So I'm trying not to use my hands to make it worse - which means not using my fingers.
All I can do is not aggravate them, and take pain killers. I was asked if I wanted to stop working. It's stressing me out, this talk of being invalided out of the world of work!

And my Mum fell over in the garden and couldn't get up. She had to get someone walking past to help her up. At least she didn't bring her hip replacement forward by a couple of months by breaking her hip.....

She lives on her own in Kent, I live in Bristol. Too many what-ifs going on in my head today


I cheer myself up by hugging the cats before I feed them! They are huge hugs - cats really really love you when they think food is a possibility.....

I feel better already

I desperately need a hug - my 9 month old niece was unwell on Monday morning and deteriorated rapidly. We had to be transferred to Birmingham Children's Hospital and the last 4 days of my life have been horrific and I have never been so scared. When I saw how ill she was on Wednesday morning I really thought we were going to lose her. I have never cried as much as I have over the last week. x x
