Can I be picky and ask them to change the list of areas in the list of west country areas?

There is no Avon, apart from the river. The place 'Avon' ceased to exist many many years ago.
I say I live in Bristol - it's my postal address. And I pay my council tax to South Gloucestershire. But no Avon, I'm afraid.

Could I ask them to change the spelling of Brizzle too?

Yes, but you need to realise that they are only issued to people in VW camper vans at this time of year!

Hi Dave

I feel we've been remiss in replying to your post

So I've ordered you an extra large Ivor Dewney pasta, followed by a Captain Jasper baguette.
Enjoy

I knew there was a reason why camper vans are such a must....it's to gain entry to your part of the world...bet you've all got one hidden in a shed ready for the summer months!

Nah, most ot the VW campers you see at this time of year are somewhere between Bristol & Newquay, broken down at the side of the road.......

.....you wonder if any of the owners, who only seem to bring them out in the summer months, ever bother to service them before expecting them to drive 100s of miles in one hit when they haven't even been out of the garge since last summer......

But, spotting a gap in market, a local company set up near here renting out VW campers to grockles so they can travel in comfort this far, then just swap to a well conditoned VW for the last hour or sos driving to Newquay - and they are ever expanding, as it's proved so popular.
