Campaigns

Epilepsy Society actively campaigns on behalf of people with epilepsy.

Targeting Seizures

A selection of anti-epileptic drugs

Epilepsy – taking the tablets?

Epilepsy is more than ‘just having seizures’ and managing epilepsy is more than ‘just taking the tablets’.

Some people are happy with taking their medication and consider this part of managing their epilepsy. Others may be uncomfortable or have concerns about taking medication, and this can be for lots of different reasons.

If you would like to tell us about your experiences and how you feel about taking your medication, please complete our survey.

University Challenge

We want to make a difference to the lives of people affected by epilepsy at university . Students, prospective students, and universities: Will you help us? Can we help you?

Count epilepsy out

In 2010 Epilepsy Society led an influential campaign to stop the government from making the generic prescription of drugs compulsory - and we won. Find out more about the campaign and what a difference it has made. You can also read the reaction from Professor John Duncan, former medcial director of Epilepsy Society.
