National Epilepsy Week 2012
National Epilepsy Week runs from 20-26 May and focuses on epilepsy and achievement.
To mark the occasion - and to celebrate our 120th birthday - we are asking you to tell us what you would like us to achieve for you through our research into the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy. Your thoughts will be placed in a special 'hopes for the future' time capsule which will be buried for 30 years in the porch of our new Epilepsy Society Research Centre.
The centre is due to open in the autumn of this year and we are hoping to display some of your hopes for the future in the building. Let us know your hopes by emailing us at pressoffice@epilepsysociety.org.uk Or you can write to us at: Press Office, Epilepsy Society, Chesham Lane, Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire SL9 0RJ.

New posters to download
We are also hoping that you will join us in raising greater awareness about epilepsy . We have two new 1 in 100 posters which you can download and then print and display in your local shops, library, post office, clinic or even in your own window. You can order a poster through our shop or by calling Ben on 01494 601 392 or emailing Ben.O'Keefe@epilepsysociety.org.uk
Video launch
During National Epilepsy Week we are launching videos about different seizure types. A new video will be launched each day during the week.
