Finding the right place to live
We offer a choice of living options, including residential care, respite care, domiciliary care and daycare placements. Please see pages on this site for more information on these living options:
We will work with you to find the most suitable option.
Assessment
The initial assessment of potential residents is a comprehensive review of medical, social and personal needs. The assessment will establish:
- health needs
- social care needs
- accommodation needs
-
opportunities for purposeful activity
For clients referred for residential care, this will include a minimum four week assessment stay in the home.
Treatment and review
The initial, comprehensive medical assessment is followed by a medication review every three months and an annual multi-disciplinary review of needs and treatment. Specialist medical staff include:
- neurologists
- a psychiatrist specialising in learning disability
- neurophysiologist
- a psychologist
-
neuroradiologists
Finding what’s best
We will work with the client, their care manager and those close to them, to provide a choice of living options, care and support, purposeful activity and treatment.
