Digital media
There are lots of ways that you can connect with Epilepsy Society, whether you need information, advice or just to talk to someone who understands.
Get in touch with us in the way that suits you!
We have launched an app which gives you the ability to carry an interactive seizure diary, essential first aid information (including a step-by-step guide to the recovery position), and other basic information about epilepsy on your mobile phone.
To find our app, search for 'epilepsy society' from your iPhone or Android phone when connected to the Internet. You can also:
> Download the app free of charge from the Apple i-Store
> Download the app free of charge from the Android Market
> Read our press release 'Phone app is a first for epilepsy' for more information
If you want to get in touch with us, or talk to other people about living with epilepsy, this is the place to be! 'Like' our page, and we'll keep you in the loop with our upcoming events, epilepsy research and medical developments, and the latest campaigns. Watch our newest videos, check out photos of some of our supporters, and get in touch with us!

Want to get the latest epilepsy news as it happens? Fancy getting involved in fundraising? Or just want to keep in touch with us? Follow us on Twitter and let us know how you're getting on. It's your chance to talk to us about what's important to you, helping us shape future campaigns and events. Come and say hello!
> Follow us on Twitter
Following us on Twitter? Support us on JustCoz.org, and you can donate tweets to us for free! This means that we can send out tweets to all your followers, without you having to do a thing - even if you're offline! It's a fantastic way for us to reach even more people, spreading awareness and making sure we inform a greater number of Twitter users about epilepsy.
It's all safe and secure, with a maximum of 1 tweet 'broadcast' per day, but we use JustCoz very sparingly - we only broadcast the most important and informative stuff.

Our YouTube channel is full of videos we've made to promote awareness of epilepsy. You can watch information videos (like our guide to the recovery position), footage of fundraisers (check out our sky dive day!), interviews with epilepsy experts and public figures (did you see our chat with Laura Sandys, MP?), and more. So, check them out and let us know what you think!

If you're looking for information, advice or just someone to chat to, our online forum is a great place to visit. Whether you have epilepsy, are a friend/family member/carer of someone with the condition, or just want to find out more, you can register for free and join the conversation.
You'll also find regional sections, where you can talk to people in your area.

QR codes
Quick response (or 'QR') codes are small black and white images, a bit like barcodes, that let you access specific web links when you scan them with your smartphone. We use QR codes on some of our printed materials, like posters and flyers, so that we can give you shortcuts to useful information (like our recovery position video), new campaigns or special offers.
To get a QR code to work, all you need is a smartphone (iPhone or Android) and a free QR code reader (which you can download for free from your app store). Simply scan the code with your phone's camera, and it will lead you to a web address straight away. Try it with the picture on the left!
It's a great way to get information when you're on the go, and we'll be using them as an extra way to keep you connected in the future.
