Calling all would be skydivers
It’s been described as fantastic, incredible and amazing and now you can experience the thrill of a skydive at a special event being held by Epilepsy Society on Sunday 20 May.
To kick start National Epilepsy Week (20-26 May) the mega skydive, which involves being strapped to a qualified instructor and freefalling for about 30 seconds before parachuting gently back down to earth, will take place at Hinton Skydiving Centre, Brackley, on the border of Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire.
Epilepsy Society fundraising assistant, Katrina Gerity, now wants to hear from all would be daredevils wanting to take the 12,000 ft leap of faith!
She said: “This event proved very popular last year and we are hoping that even more adrenaline junkies will come forward this year and push themselves to the limit to raise money for people with epilepsy!”
