Turning scrap cars into cash
Epilepsy Society is working with Giveacar, an organisation that turns old cars into money for charity.
The free service, available throughout the UK, arranges the collection of unwanted vehicles at no cost and depending on age and condition, they either recycle them at a green facility or send themt to a salvage auction.
Scrap donations would raise an average of £100 for Epilepsy Society and auction cars often raise more.
Since Giveacar was set up in 2010, the organisation has raised over £700,000 for over 800 charities!
