Introducing Epilepsy Society

We have changed our working name to Epilepsy Society. We’ll continue to run the excellent services associated with the National Society for Epilepsy and, by simplifying our name and giving ourselves a new visual identity, we believe we will be able to reach out to more people affected by epilepsy.

So, it’s goodbye to NSE orange, and hello to Epilepsy Society purple. Purple is the international colour for epilepsy, so we felt it was just right for us – we hope you like it! Over time we will be rolling out our new look in everything we do, and we will be launching the first of our campaigns under the Epilepsy Society banner very soon.

All of the research and development for the re-brand has been done in house by a group from our marketing and communications team, without the use of any expensive branding agencies. While many charities are spending around £250,000 on rebrands, we have spent just a small fraction of this, ensuring the vital funds we receive from supporter donations continue to go towards the causes that really matter to you.

We’d love to hear what you think of our new identity, so email us and let us know! Why not start by checking out our new logos below?

This includes our epilepsy information services; our dedicated helpline; all the campaign work we do to raise awareness; medical research; fundraising and special events; the Epilepsy Society forum; training; and our schools awareness programme.

Epilepsy Society’s Chalfont Centre is the UK’s largest specialist provider of epilepsy services, including residential, nursing, respite and domiciliary care; supported living; therapy; day placements; and training for work.

The renowned Sir William Gowers assessment centre, situated on our Buckinghamshire site, is dedicated to the treatment of epilepsy. Our out-patient clinics are attended by 3,000 patients per year, and our expert in-patient assessment helps up to 600 patients per year.
