Crisis in neurological care
The Government needs to do more for people with neurological conditions, such as epilepsy, says a leading campaign group.
The Neurological Alliance, whose view is supported by Epilepsy Society, says poor services and rising numbers of people with neurological conditions are resulting in inadequate standards of NHS care.
The comments come after the National Audit Office published a report last month highlighting delays in diagnosis, poor information, badly co-ordinated follow-up care and variation in access to services. Read the BBC news website for more information (opens in new window).
