Charities working together
Ever wondered how one strong voice can be more effective than many?
Peter Stanford, writing in the charity magazine Third Sector (opens in a new window), looks at the benefits of collaborative work between charities.
In his column he highlights Neurological Commissioning Support (NCS) - representing the voices of Epilepsy Society, MS Society, Motor Neurone Disease Association and Parkinson’s UK - as an excellent model of charities working collaboratively to achieve a common aim.
In this case the aim is better neurology commissioning leading to better care and services for people living with a long-term neurological condition.
