Yellow Card Scheme alert

The Yellow Card Scheme, run by The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Commission on Human Medicines (CHM), collects reports of suspected adverse drug reactions (ADRs) through the Yellow Card Scheme.

The MHRA and the CHM have identified a problem with the Yellow Card post delivery service and some Yellow Cards have been returned to sender due to an error at Royal Mail.

If you have posted a Yellow Card report and have either had it returned or not received an acknowledgement letter, the MHRA and the CHM request that you resend the report. This can be done by reporting online (www.yellowcard.gov.uk) or sending a new Yellow Card (the error at Royal Mail has been rectified).

If you have any concerns or urgent matters that you wish to discuss, please call the CHM free phone on 0800 731 6789.
