EEG

EEG telemetry unit

There are four video-EEG telemetry beds at the Sir William Gowers Centre and a further six at the Sir Jules Thorn Ward at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. These are used for diagnostic purposes, to clarify the diagnosis of epilepsy, the type of epilepsy, and as part of the consideration of possible surgical treatment.
