I know just how you feel, Dewi2, so have a huge (((((huh)))) from me.

It's football, rugby (if Wales are playing) and motor bike racing with my old man. He's glued to the GP and the superbikes every weekend at the moment and also watches a lot of the Tour de France thing with the push bikes.

That's why I paint, it's more fun watching the pictures drying :wink:

Mind you, not in this weather.

The West Mids seems to have been a huge mixture of sunshine and total downpours today. Got caught in a downpour coming back from town earlier, now the sun's out again (for 5 mins) and hubby's taken the dog out. I chickened out this afternoon, it's too muddy on that field, terrible coward I am but I hate sinking into slippy mud and getting it all over the bottoms of my jeans! I fall over in it too cos I almost always slip somewhere.

I'd stick to the roads but our dog isn't one for just pavement walks. He's a Springador (yes, it's a definite designer breed of lab crossed with a springer) and needs exercise, loads of it unfortunately at the moment cos we're getting wet with him ever day.

How I wish I were there enjoying some of that beautiful rain, I love rain, hail, snow, fog (really like the fog, dense fog that is - It's so peaceful, intelligent people stay in but not me :shock:

NO not enjoying it one little bit. We have sunshine here 80% of the year. Things could always be worse, I could live in Furnace Creek, California (hottest recorded temp in US) with a high of 134 degrees (about 57c) :shock:

Emms...How would you like to take your dog for a stroll at that temp. You'd rush back to the rain and be grateful for it I bet. :mrgreen:

Well, I can't complain about the weather that muchhere now, it's warmer and we're getting some sunshine.

And no, Jake, I wouldn't want to walk my dog in the kind of heat you're talking about and the dog wouldn't stand it, but I don't like cold and rain either. Still, I'm a Brit, we're the champions at moaning about the weather :wink:

We's win an Olympic medal for moaning over here if it was an event :roll:
