We are here to help! We can provide you with a fundraising pack full of ideas and handy tips, as well as the fantastic NSE running vest so you look the part on the day. We can’t run for you, but we will be here to help get you to the starting line.
We have guaranteed entries into a few running events each year, but to see the full extent of running events available search the Runners World event listing (opens in new window) where you can search for runs local to you, from 5Ks to full Marathons. Please contact us once you’ve decided what event you want to take part in, or to see what places we have available.

Small steps - fun runs up to 10km
Adidas Women’s 5K: 5 September 2010
A fun run (or walk!) for women of all ages through London’s Hyde Park. We have a few places available, so contact us, or you can register directly (opens in a new window) – but please don’t forget to let us know that you’re running! BUPA Great Yorkshire Run: 5 September 2010
A fun 10K road race for all abilities, taking place around Sheffield City Centre. Online entries are now open, so hurry and register online (opens in a new window) and then contact us to let us know you've entered!
Baxters River Ness 5K Fun Run : 3rd October 2010
A scenic 5K fun run suitable for runners of all ages and abilities including wheelchair entrants, following a flat route along the River Ness and finishing at Bught Park. You can register online (opens a new window) but please remember to contact us and let us know you've entered.
Liverpool 10K : 3rd October 2010

Giant strides - half marathons
Bristol Half Marathon: 5 September 2010
This half Marathon offers great potential for fast times, and starts and finishes in Bristol's historic Harbourside, passing twice under the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. Register direct and NSE will support you the rest of the way.
New Forest Half Marathon : 26th September 2010

New Balance English Half Marathon : 3rd October 2010
Now in its second year this hugely success half marathon starts and finishes in Victoria Park in Warrington. Aimed to be open to runners of all abilities, from first timers to elite runners, entry closes for this event on 12th September 2010, so don’t delay! Leaps and bounds - marathons and triathlons
Virgin London Marathon 2011: 17 April 2011
NSE has a small number of Golden Bond entries into next year’s Marathon, and applications are now being accepted. Please contact us for an application form. We will announce our places after the ballot results have been published in October.
Did you apply for a ballot place? If you are lucky enough to get a place in October we would love you to run for NSE! If you join the Team NSE runners we can provide you with fundraising pack, running vest, as well as fantastic post race reception with much needed carbs and sports massages. Come and join Team NSE in the biggest fundraising event in the world, and raise much needed funds for epilepsy while you run.
London to Brighton 56 : 5th September 2010
Want to really push yourself? Try the London to Brighton in September. Now an official qualifier for the Mont Blanc North Face Ultra, this 56 mile or 90km race is not to be underestimated. Starting at 6am from Blackheath in London, you will run along trails in the beautiful English countryside through Kent, Surrey and Sussex until arriving at Brighton. Eden Marathon : 10th October 2010
Now in it’s second year, this truly unique marathon centres around the Eden Project in Cornwall. The largest running event in the area, last year the marathon ran through the famous bio-domes, over the man made ‘Cornish Alps’ before finishing a true Cornish tradition, with beer, pasties and medals at the finish line. This year’s course has yet to be announced, but promises to be just as unique and challenging.
