Bedroom tax and Question Time

Politician Ken Clarke, displayed a lack of understanding of the needs of people with uncontrolled epilepsy when talking about the 'bedroom tax' on last night's TV programme (19 September).

When Labour MP Harriet Harman cited the example of a woman whose daughter needs to stay in a second bedroom to look after her every time she has a seizure, he didn't appear to understand how long it can take some people to recuperate.

The programme can be viewed on BBC iplayer and the debate on bedroom tax is 35 minutes into the programme.
