Arriva bus is painted with Epilepsy Society logo to celebrate staff generosity

An Arriva bus in London has been painted silver to celebrate the generosity of staff members who gave to various charities through Payroll, including Epilepsy Society.

The bus was transformed to celebrate the fact that 20 per cent of Arriva employees give to 160 charities via Payroll Giving, earning Arriva the Platinum Quality Mark award.

Epilepsy Society comments

An Epilepsy Society spokesperson said: "Aviva staff have very generously given to Epilepsy Society as one of their chosen charities.  Payroll giving is very important to us at Epilepsy Society because it allows us to plan future campaigns and projects with a secure, regular income stream.  We would like to thank the staff for their generosity and encourage others to give in the same way."

Bus routes

The bus, a Volvo B9TL Eclipse Gemini 2 is now operating on route 141, Palmers Green garage to London Bridge, and will drive different routes around London until it has been seen in all areas of the city.

The bus will be touring London at Giving Tuesday on 29 November, and will be displayed at the Lord Mayor's Show on 12 November.
