Epilepsy Society thanks CAWC International for 27 years of support
Epilepsy Society would like to thank the members of CAWC International for their unwavering financial support since 1989.
CAWC International have recently celebrated 65 years of being active in the community in the Chilterns, having started off in 1950 as the Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross American Wives Club.
The charity changed its name to CAWC (Chiltern American Women's Club) in 1987 and has raised over £160,000 for Epilepsy Society since 1989.
CAWC members have helped to plant trees
Over the years CAWC International members have entertained Epilepsy Society residents by singing Christmas carols, and have planted trees and bulbs on the Epilepsy Society site in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire.
Epilepsy Society fundraising officer, Chloe Chambers said: “Epilepsy Society is hugely grateful for all the support the Chilterns American Women’s Club have given over the years. Thanks to their generosity we have been able to accomplish so much, and we are looking forward to continuing our partnership with them in the future.”
