Epilepsy Society thanks Ride London 100 cyclists for support
Epilepsy Society would like to thank our 50 riders who cycled the Ride London 100 on Sunday.
The Team Purple riders rode 100 miles from London to Surrey in hot weather among more than 26,000 participants.
The cyclists rode a similar route to that of the London 2012 Olympic road races, starting in Queen Elizabeth Olympic park, through London to Surrey's country roads and hills before returning to the capital to finish on The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.
Events and challenges fundraising officer, Liz Tidy said: "Thank you to all the cyclists who rode for Epilepsy Society in Team Purple. It was a fantastic day rounding off months of hard work and training from everyone. Thank you too, to everyone who gave their support, financially and in person - the atmosphere was amazing."
The total amount raised for Epilepsy Society will be announced in due course.
