People with epilepsy invited to join focus groups in Essex

People who have been diagnosed with epilepsy in the last three years are invited to participate in focus groups being held in Essex by a group of 15 charities over the next few weeks.

Anyone affected by a neurological condition, including brain injury, epilepsy, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's and stroke is invited to attend to share their experience of living with their condition.

The focus groups aim to "shine a light on the experiences of real people, and find out what they feel would have been the most positive way they could have been given their diagnosis".

The groups will be used to compile a report and the stories of five individuals will be presented to Essex-based neurology professionals.

Focus group attendees must be over 18, living in Essex or with a GP in Essex, and diagnosed with a neurological condition in the last three years.
