Will you support NHS Change Day?

NHS Change Day on March 3, is calling on NHS staff across the country to pledge to make a positive difference to patient care.

This year, members of the public are being asked to make their own pledges for the first time after a poll of more than 1,000 people found that eight in 10 believed they could do more to help their local health service.

Dr Damian Roland, senior paediatric registrar at Leicester Hospitals and one of the founders of NHS Change Day, said: "We're really excited to be getting the public involved in this year's NHS Change Day.

"Sometimes the simplest gesture is all it takes - the positivity generated from a small 'thank you' can boost staff morale and, in turn, improve patient experience.

Making a difference

"Anyone who joins our patient and public pledges therefore has a chance to make a real difference. NHS Change Day belongs to everyone who takes part; it's a genuine opportunity to make simple changes and do something better together."
