care in your home
Our specialised domiciliary care service enables individuals with epilepsy, who also have associated and additional complications, to maintain a positive lifestyle within their own home and community. We offer a personal service tailored towards meeting the individual needs of the client. We respect each individual’s right to independence, privacy, dignity and empower them to make informed choices about their lives.
Our service is designed to help clients maintain their personal routines and health needs. Support may include helping the client with dressing, bathing/showering, toileting and medication through the provision of:
- physical assistance
- medication management/prompting
- advice, encouragement and supervision.
Additionally, the emotional and psychological support provided by our staff is designed to enable clients to:
- develop and maintain a sense of well-being
- promote socially acceptable behaviours
- manage the impact of their impairment/disability and specifically any cognitive impairment.
Some domiciliary care clients also benefit from our supported living service.
The specialist service is provided by our highly trained staff.
All our staff receive a comprehensive training programme which enables them to deliver the specialist support needed by each client.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (opens new window) to provide both Supported Living and Domiciliary Services, and with the Buckinghamshire County Council Supporting People Programme.
