Corporate giving

We know that the workplace can be a real force for good. Charity partnerships can help motivate staff and give you something special to tell your customers and shareholders. We can help your employees get involved in our work.

We can also work directly in partnership with you, in a way that makes a real impact for both of us. With your help we can realise our vision of a full life for everyone affected by epilepsy.

Get your employees involved

Inspire your team to raise funds for us. Whether you are planning a cake bake, treasure hunt or fancy dress event, we can provide you with materials and resources to support your fundraising. Fundraising is fun and is a great way to build team spirit.

If you are looking for more challenging team building opportunities, check out our adventurous treks and skydives.

Setting up a payroll giving scheme is a great way to support the generosity of your employees and show your corporate social responsibility. Schemes are simple to set-up and administer and giving this way is tax efficient.

If you have time to donate, why not think about volunteering? We welcome corporate groups to our site in Buckinghamshire to help our residents with complex needs. You’ll develop new skills while helping others and you’ll see first-hand the difference you can make.

Working in partnership with you

Gifts and donations

If you have charitable funds, we would love to be your chosen charity should you wish to make a corporate donation. We also accept gifts in kind which could include prizes for our annual fundraising events.

Charity of the Year

If you run a 'Charity of the Year' programme, please nominate Epilepsy Society to be your new chosen charity.

We will work with you to achieve your business objectives through this partnership. We will assign you a dedicated account manager who will be on hand to work with you throughout the year and beyond.

For us 'Charity of the Year' is about inspiring and engaging with you and your employees to build a meaningful relationship. Together we can work professionally and creatively to achieve our goals to help support people with epilepsy in the UK.

Sponsorship opportunities

We also have a range of opportunities to sponsor events, resources and publications. This is a great way to do good and raise your company's profile.

Why partner with us

There are more than half a million people with epilepsy in the UK. We are the leading national epilepsy medical charity working for everyone affected by epilepsy. Our cutting-edge research, awareness campaigns and expert care all contribute to our vision of a full life for everyone affected by epilepsy.

Examples of how we are supporting people with epilepsy in 2013:

  • In March we opened our £3.4m research facility from which we will run our flagship genetics research programme.
  • In the last year we were able to extend our helpline opening hours and take an extra 40 calls per month.
  • Our residential homes for people with complex epilepsy provide care for 100 people.
  • Our website provides an updated and easy to use information resource for thousands of people each month.

Our values

One of our greatest assets is our Buckinghamshire site. Because everything we do is organised from here, staff are well connected to each other and our residents and visitors. We go out of our way to make things happen which make a difference to others. We are always happy to listen and take-on new ideas.

Public awareness

We are a well-known and highly respected epilepsy charity. We have  a lively online forum, substantial web traffic and Facebook and twitter followers. We run national services for people with epilepsy and work with medical professionals from across the world. We even worked with Coronation Street writers on an epilepsy storyline, raising awareness in millions of UK homes.
