Epilepsy Society highly commended by BMA
Epilepsy Society is delighted that its information pack – ‘Just Diagnosed' – has been applauded by the British Medical Association (BMA) as an 'excellent resource'. The booklet, designed to give people key information following a diagnosis of epilepsy, was highly commended at this year’s BMA Patient Information Awards.
Rona Eade, Epilepsy Society information manager, said: 'We are delighted that the BMA has praised this booklet. It informs, empowers and supports people who have just been diagnosed with epilepsy and is also a helpful resource for family, friends and carers.'
BMA judges said the booklet 'sensitively and helpfully addresses a range of issues of importance to those newly diagnosed with epilepsy.'
