FAQs

Q: I would like to make a donation or donate money I have raised to Epilepsy Society, how can I do this?
A: There are a number of ways to make a donation: by telephone to our donation line (01494 601414); online at epilepsysociety.org.uk/donate or by sending a short note and a cheque made payable to ‘Epilepsy Society’ to Fundraising Department, Epilepsy Society, Chesham Lane, Chalfont St Peter, Bucks, SL9 0RJ.

Q: I would like to do some fundraising for Epilepsy Society, how can you help me?
A: The fundraising team are all on hand to support you with your fundraising events and activities. We would love to send you a fundraising pack (including lots of guides to fundraising and fundraising materials). Please get in touch with the fundraising team by emailing fundraising@epilepsysociety.org.uk or calling 01494 601 414 to tell us about your plans and we will then send you everything you need.

Q: My Epilepsy Society collection tin is full, what shall I do?
A; With a witness present, break the seal on the collection tin and together count the amount raised. Bank the funds into you own bank account and donate the money raised to us (see above for details on how to make a donation). If you would like to use your collection tin to fundraise again, get in touch with the fundraising team who will send you a replacement seal. If you have finished collecting, please send us back your empty collection tin.

Q: Am I able to set up a direct debit over the phone?
A: We are currently unable to offer this service, however you can set up a direct debit online at epilepsysociety.org.uk/donate or if you would like to call our donations line on 01494 601414 we can take your contact details and send you a form through the post to complete and return to us.

Q: I have moved house and need to update my address, how can I do this?
A: Please email us at fundraising@epilepsysociety.org.uk or call our donations line on 01494 601414 and we will update your record on our database.
