help raise public awareness
Talking to the media about epilepsy is a valuable way of helping to increase public awareness. Would you be willing to talk to the press about your experiences of epilepsy? You can help us raise awareness by volunteering as a media contact and sharing your story.
What we need
We’re looking for people who could talk to journalists about epilepsy. Journalists may want to interview someone who comes into a specific category – for example, someone of a particular age, gender or occupation, or who has a particular type of seizure.
We keep details of our media contacts on file and will always check with you before putting a member of the press in touch. We may also ask your permission to include your story on our website.
To become a media contact, please complete our online form.
What happens next
Don’t worry if you don’t hear from us straight away. We’ll keep your details on file and we’ll be in touch if we’d like to use your story.
Be assured that we will never pass on your details to the media without contacting you first.
