If so, why not apply for a place on Epilepsy Society's new Me and My Shadow Scheme, launched to celebrate this year's International Women’s Day on 8 March?

This is a new scheme which provides opportunities for young women with epilepsy to shadow women in a range of different careers for a day. The scheme aims to build confidence and ambition in young women with epilepsy and encourages them to think big. We provide full support to those participating and ensure that all successful applicants are linked up with someone who matches their interests and will help further their own future career goals.

If you would like to apply for the scheme, please tell us in no more than 500 words why you think you should be chosen and the field that interests you most. Email:  The closing date is Friday 16th March 2018.

Please be aware that due to the potentially high number of applicants and popularity of the scheme we regret that not everyone who applies will go through to the next stage.

Good luck!
