BBC features brain training for epilepsy

Look out on BBC South East Today at 6.30pm when Dr Yoko Nagai will be talking about an online brain training technique for seizure control in people with epilepsy.

The technique - Autonomic Cognitive Rehabituation Training  - is based on biofeedback, a behavioural therapy more commonly used to promote relaxation. However for people with epilepsy, the technique is being used to increase brain alertness and help control seizures.

The research is being led by Dr Yoko Nagai (right), Wellcome Trust research fellow at Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
