purple day for epilepsy awareness
Purple Day is the international day for epilepsy and falls on 26 March each year. Purple Day was created in 2008 by Cassidy Megan, a young girl from Canada, who has epilepsy and wanted to get people talking about the condition.
Good luck to everyone who has organised a Purple Day fundraising event, we cannot thank you enough for all your support.
Wear purple with pride
Show your support this purple day by ordering merchandise on our online shop. We have Epilepsy Society T-shirts, wigs and ribbon pin badges so you can wear it purple!
We continue to be amazed by the wonderful fundraising events our supporters organise for Purple Day. With your help we have turned workplaces, schools, homes and even Trafalgar Square purple - raising valuable funds and increasing awareness of epilepsy. Thank you from all of us for all your continued support.
