purple day pyjama party

This year we're encouraging as many of you as possible to hold a Purple Pyjama Party for Purple Day! If a Purple Pyjama Party isn't for you, we'd love you to join us and celebrate Purple Day in your own way. Order your purple pack to get your purple planning underway.

Pyjama party

Organising a Purple Pyjama Party is easy! Decide where to wear your PJs, at work, at home, at school, at your local village hall, there are so many places that would be the perfect venue for a pyjama party.

A finger pointing

Here's how to get started...

1) Decide where to wear your PJs!

At work, at home, at school, at your local village hall...there are so many places that would be the perfect venue for a pyjama party! Just make sure you gain any permissions you need to hold your event.

2) Fix a date

Purple Day is 26 March but if that date doesn't work for you, why not choose another day that week?

3) Eat purple, drink purple!

If your event's at home you could provide popcorn and purple mocktails in return for a small donation. At work or school you could hold a cake sale. Turn the page for to get a flavour of our purplest recipes!

4) Go bananas in pyjamas!

There are so many ways you can make your event even more purple, encourage further donations and increase the fun! We have 'counting sheep' games, purple selfie props, raffle templates and more for you to download at epilepsysociety.org.uk/purple-day-extras - you can also order Epilepsy Society balloons, banners!

5) Encourage people to show they care, in their nightwear!

Now you've decided the main details, it's time to tell people about it! You can download invitation and event templates at epilepsysociety.org.uk/purple-day-extras Remember you can ask guests to help organise your event, or even make a contribution to the raffle or cake sale...

6) Put on your pyjamas, relax and have fun!
