Seizures make me a shopaholic says Helen

Helen , a guest blogger on BBC News ouch, writes candidly about living with epilepsy and the unusual situations she has found herself in as a result of her simple and complex partial seizures. Although humourous to read,  she poignantly highlights the challenges faced by many people who experience less recognised  seizure types.

When people think of epilepsy, they tend to imagine someone convulsing painfully and uncontrollably on the floor. As someone with a non-convulsive variety, I do lose control - but much more interestingly.
