My experience of sodium valproate

Kat, who has borderline personality disorder, was prescribed sodium valproate as a mood stabiliser for two and a half years. She was informed of the risks associated with sodium valproate during pregnancy and shares her experience.

 

 

Study looks at risks to children exposed to epilepsy drugs during pregnancy

A study looking at the risk of malformations for children exposed to lamotrigine or levetiracetam in the womb shows both medications seem to be safer than many other epilepsy drugs.
